All
crops are grown here or within a few miles of "The Country
Market" by John and Lori Bankert. We started farming about 10
years ago and have raised sweet corn, tomatoes, pumpkins, all fall
crops, and beef cattle over this time period. Our 12 year old
daughter, Kaitlyn, is quite
active in our farming operation, as well as many young teens from
our area, who help tend to and harvest the crops. We consider
it a privilege and a blessing to work the land, raise animals, and
harvest the bountiful crops each year. We enjoy sharing
our love of farming with young kids who seldom have the chance to
experience a taste of farm life. We would be happy to have you
join us for a group tour or one of our weekend festivals. Come
spend some time in the country!
